Several Bangladesh cricketers witnessed improvements in their Test rankings following their individual successes against Zimbabwe during the one-off Test series in Harare last week.

Mahmudullah, who struck career-best unbeaten 150 runs in the first innings, received a 19-place jump and moved to 44th position while Liton Das gained 15 places to move to 55th position in batsmen’s ranking.

Off-spinner Mehidy Hasan moved up six places to 24th after finishing with a nine-wicket match haul while fast bowler Taskin Ahmed advanced from 95th to 89th position after taking five wickets in the match.

Bangladesh won the match by 220 runs on Sunday to complete their first overseas Test series victory after 2009.
