NRBC Bank’s deposit stands at Tk 106bn

NRBC Bank Limited has now become a bank with a deposit of Tk 105.77 billion. Despite corona pandemic the bank’s deposit crossed the milestone on June 30 in 2021.

Presently the bank’s deposits stands at Tk 105.77 billion which was Tk 79.82 billion in last year on June 30 in 2020, said a press release.

  The bank’s deposit was Tk 63.59 billion and Tk 50.79 billion in 2019 and 2018 respectively.

 The deposit growth of the bank was recorded at 32.52 percent in comparison to the same period of previous year.

According to bank statistics, bank has experienced highest growth on June 2021, which was 25.52 percent in 2020 and 25.20 percent on June 2019.

SM Parvez Tamal, Chairman of board of directors of NRBC Bank said that, “Despite corona pandemic we have tried to give 24/7 service to our valued clients. During lockdown we have kept our branches open with our efficient workforce ensuring proper Covid-19 protocol.”

Besides record deposit growth of bank has also experienced higher growth of loan and advances. Total loan disbursement grew by Tk 21.70 billion or nearly 34 percent on June 2021 amid the corona virus pandemic situation.

Disbursement of total credit rose to Tk 86.05 billion during June 2021 period from Tk 64.35 billion in same period of last year, according to the statement.

The total credit disbursement was Tk 55.01 billion on June 2019 and Tk 44.01 billion same period of 2018.
