Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq on Sunday said enacting law based on the philosophy of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is necessary to establish social discipline and justice which is one of the most important responsibilities of the state, reports BSS.

“His political philosophy is historically related to Bangladesh’s constitution and the laws enacted during his tenure. After achieving independence under the leadership of Bangabandhu, the legal infrastructure, which is needed to manage the state and the government, was created under his supervision and following his directive. This had created the foundation of the state named Bangladesh,” Anisul said.

The law minister said this while addressing a workshop on presenting draft of legislative desk book, organised by Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division.

Presided over by division secretary Md Moinul Kabir, the workshop was also addressed by Law and Justice Division secretary Md Golam Sarwar, joint secretary and project director Dr Mohammad Mohiuddin, among others.
