Book on Bangabandhu launched at NSU

North South University (NSU) launched a book titled “Bangabandhu and Bangladesh” virtually on the university campus in the city on Thursday, marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The book on the life of Bangabandhu was published by NSU and was authored by 47 renowned writers and politicians from home and abroad, said a press release. 

It is published in both Bengali and English language considering readers of different languages.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni was present as the chief guest while Chairman of Board of Trustees of NSU and former President of FBCCI MA Kashem as the special guest. NSU Vice-Chancellor Professor Atiqul Islam chaired the event while Director of Public Relations Office of NSU Jamil Ahmed moderated it.

Board of Trustees Members of NSU Azim Uddin Ahmed, Benajir Ahmed and Aziz AI Kaiser were present as guests of honor while Editor of the book and Chairman of the Department of History and Philosophy of NSU Professor Dr Sharif Uddin Ahmed highlighted the important aspects of the book
