Sujon provides financial aid to poor in Debiganj

PANCHAGARH: Taka 4.30 lakh distributed among 86 poor and destitute men and women in Debiganj upazila of diatrict district here on Saturday.

Railways Minister Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon distributed Taka 500 each from his own fund at a function was held at Debiganj upazila parished hall room as the chief guest. The Minister said, the government is relentlessly working to change the fate of poor people across the country. Manifold development work is going on in the country. The Prime Minister said none will remain homeless.

Every poor those who have no land will get Paka house. It is commitment of the Prime Minister on the occasion of Mujib Year. Upazila Nirbahi officer UNO of Debiganj Prottoy Hasan was in the chair. Upazila chairman Abdul Malek Chistee , upazila Awami League President Gias Uddin Chowdary and others spoke on the function.

Later, the Minister distributed Taka 5.25 lakh among 105 poor men and women in Boda upazila of Panchagarh district.
