French version of Bangabandhu's 'Prison Diary' unveiled

Cover of 'Journal de Prison', the French version of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 'Prison Diary' was unveiled at the Bangladesh Embassy in Paris on Friday.

Being connected virtually from New York, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen graced the programme as the chief guest.

Prominent French writer, philosopher and filmmaker Bernard-Henri Lévy was the guest of honour at the event while chief coordinator of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury and one of the founders and trustees of the Liberation War Museum Mofidul Haque attended the programme as special speakers from Dhaka.
