BGMEA leaders pay courtesy call on BIDA EC

A delegation of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) led by its President Faruque Hassan present a bouquet to BIDA Executive Chairman Md. Sirazul Islam during their visit at BIDA office in the capital on Sunday.

A delegation of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) led by its President Faruque Hassan paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Chairman Md. Sirazul Islam at BIDA office on Sunday.

The BGMEA delegation included Vice President Miran Ali, Directors Inamul Haq Khan (Bablu), Asif Ibrahim, Asif Ashraf, Abdullah Hil Rakib, Barrister Vidiya Amrit Khan,  and Mijanur Rahman, said a press release.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues relating to create an effective business-friendly environment and improve the ease of doing business in Bangladesh to attract more investment in the country, especially in non-cotton or man-made fibre (MMF) based textiles.    They also discussed specific issues being faced by a number of liaison offices of foreign buyers in Bangladesh and requested BIDA to address them.

BIDA Executive Members Mohsina Yasmin, Md.  Shaifullah Mokbul Murshed, and Avijit Chowdhury were also present on the occasion.
