Cluster admission test of 20 varsities postponed

The cluster admission tests for the 2020-21 academic year of 20 general, science, and technology universities were postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic situation.

The tests were scheduled to be held in a cluster system on June 19, 26 and July 3 for the humanities, commerce and science groups respectively.

The Integrated Admission Committee of Universities of the 20 public universities took the decision from a meeting held on Friday afternoon.

The deadline of submission of the application also extended as the admission seekers can apply for the cluster admission tests till June 25.

Engineer Md Oahiduz-zaman, secretary of the Integrated Admission Committee of Universities and Registrar of Jagannath University, said  it will not possible to hold the admission test as per existing schedule consider the country’s coronavirus situation and ongoing restrictions.

“So, we postponed the examinations and extended time of application till June 25,” he added
