GP, Banglalink keen to take lease of tower sharing

Grameenphone and Banglalink Digital Communications have showed their interest to take the lease of the optical fiber cable and tower sharing at a webinar organised by Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) recently.

BTCL has virtually organised a stakeholder meeting with Mobile Telecom Operators, said a press release.

BTCL Managing Director Dr Md Rafiqul Matin presided over the meeting.

About 28 high officials of Telecom Bangladesh Limited, Grameenphone Limited, Robi Axiata Limited and Banglalink Digital Communications Limited were present at the meeting. 

Representatives of Robi Axiata expressed their satisfaction at the quality of BTCL's Optical Fiber Backbone and other services.

Every organisations emphasised on hiring outsourcing companies for making the quality of optical fiber and tower operation maintenance services more advanced and sustainable.

Telecom Bangladesh representatives said that they have been using BTCL's services since their establishment and it will increase more in the future.

All of the organisations are urged to hold this type of meeting regularly in the future.

 Dr Md Rafiqul Matin said that BTCL is taking steps to hire outsourcing companies for maintaining tower operation services and quality of optical fiber more sustainable and up-to-date.

He hoped that it will be possible to provide services according to customer satisfaction by modernising everything.
