The Asia-Pacific regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) will host its eleventh edition in last week of September in Nepal following hybrid formats -- virtual and in-person.
Based on Hong Kong, the APrIGF conferences have been held in venues ranging from Seoul to Delhi, from Vladivostok to Vanuatu, from Macao to Bangkok, said a news release. The conference is organized virtually in 2020 and the format will continue this year.The internet governance process began in 2005 and first Forum held in 2006. Since then, regional and national multi-stakeholder forums for internetgGovernance have been held in different parts of the world. With the theme of ‘Towards an Inclusive, Sustainable and Trusted Internet’, the forum is schedule to happen from September 27-30.
