Bangladesh Archery Federation has decided to vaccinate their national team before they leave for France to take part in the upcoming World Cup stage three, scheduled to be held on June 21-27 in Paris.

“All team members will be vaccinated this week. The National Olympic Committee of Bangladesh is arranging it. World Archery told us that there will be no quarantine for us in France. So, the federation deferred the flight schedule. Now we will leave Dhaka on June 16,” assistant coach Ziaul Haque told the reporters on Saturday.

The eight recurve archers were previously scheduled to leave for France today to earn Olympics wild card but the federation rescheduled the flight and decided to send the team after they receive Covid-19 vaccination.

The archers are -- Ruman Shana, Ram Krishna Shaha, Hakim Ahmed Rubel, Abdur Rahman Alif, Diya Siddiqui, Nasrin Akter, Beauty Roy and Mahanaz Akter Monera.
