Biman, Novoair to resume flights to Cox’s Bazar

Novoair is going to resume its flights in Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route from today (Tuesday) while Biman Bangladesh Airlines will start from June 3.

According to the airliners, they will each operate two flights daily in this domestic route.

The flights will be operated in compliance with health guidelines issued by the government to tackle the pandemic.

Novoair flights will depart from Dhaka at 9:30 am and 3 pm and return flights from Cox’s Bazar will be at 11:05 am and 4:35 pm. The private airliner has also announced 10 percent discounts for all destinations on the ticket fare for Smiles members.

Cox’s Bazar flights were suspended from April 5 as per the government directive as the cases of coronavirus rose in the country. Smiles members can purchase tickets through Novoair sales offices from 1st June to 31st July 2021.

Any valuable passenger can enjoy this offer by being enrolled as Smiles members from the airlines’ sales offices or website. Novoair is the first Bangladeshi airline to launch frequent flyers programme like "Smiles" from 2013 to provide special services to the frequent flyers.

Currently, it operates daily six flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, five flights to Jessore, five flights to Saidpur, two flights to Sylhet, two flights to Barisal and two flights to Rajshahi.
