Rain likely for 2 more days

The country may experience rainfall for 2-3 more days in effect of cyclone Yaas. 

The cyclone now weakened into a low after a deep depression and lies over Bihar and east Uttar Pradesh, likely to move northwestwards further, weaken gradually and become unimportant, said Bajlur Rashid, meteorologist of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

Monsoon will begin the first of second week of June, and then country will witness rainfall, he added. 

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
