2 accused confess to their part

Two more accused in sensational Pallabi Shahin Uddin murder case on Friday confessed to their involvement in the gruesome killing.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nivana Khayer Jessy recorded confessional statements of Iqbal and Sharif as Detective Branch of police produced the duo before the court with a plea to record their statements under 164 of the CrPC.

After recording their statements, the court sent the accused to jail. The court also sent another accused Titu to jail in the same case.

Earlier in the day, the three accused produced before the court on completion of their four-day remand in the case.

According to the case, Shahin Uddin was mercilessly hacked to death in broad daylight on May 16, in front of his son after being called to resolve a land dispute. His mother Aklima Begum filed the case with Pallabi Police Station on May 17.
