Japanese diplomats visit Daily Sun office

Diplomats from the Embassy of Japan on Thursday visited the Daily Sun office in Dhaka and exchanged views with senior journalists to promote Japan-Bangladesh friendship and cooperation.

During the visit, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission Hiroyuki Yamaya and Cultural Representative Ms Megumi Shimizu of the Japan Embassy interacted with Daily Sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury and Diplomatic Editor Rezaul Karim Lotus.

The Japanese diplomats highlighted the longstanding and historic relationship between Japan and Bangladesh and said Japan will continue to support Bangladesh for its socioeconomic and human resources development.

They also listed out the Japan-funded ongoing mega projects in Bangladesh, which will bring a revolutionary change here. The Daily Sun Editor thanked the Japanese diplomats for the visit and assured them of extending all possible cooperation to strengthen the Bangladesh-Japan relations.
