Booters draw with Sk Jamal

Bangladesh national football team played a 2-2 draw against Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd in their solitary practice game ahead of the Qatar tour for FIFA, AFC joint qualifiers on Thursday.

The closed-door match took place at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital. Defender Yeasin Arafat and midfielder Mehadi Hasan scored a goal each for the national team in the 65th minute and 68th minute while Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd Gambian forward Sulayman Sillah netted the opening goal in the 41st minute; Sheikh Jamal also credited an own goal in the 59th minute of the match. 

Bangladesh will leave Dhaka for Qatar at 11:00am today where they will play three qualifying matches against Afghanistan, India and Oman on June 3, 7 and 15 respectively.

Afghanistan played against Indonesia on Tuesday and will take on Singapore on Saturday while Oman played against Thailand on Tuesday and will meet Indonesia on Saturday and India will meet the Philippines on Friday before their Group matches.
