Bangladesh missions mark 48th anniv

More Bangladesh missions abroad observed the day with due dignity in various programs on the 48th anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Joliot-Curie Peace Prize for the establishment of world peace.

Messages received from Bangladesh missions, including in Paris, Brussels, Beijing, Seoul, Abuja, Mauritius and Stockholm observed the day with elaborate programmes.

On the occasion, the officers and employees of the missions led by their respective mission chiefs paid homage to Bangabandhu on the mission premises.

The embassies, high commissions and consulates organised discussions, offered special prayers for the peace of the soul of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Speakers at those discussions said that the world is proudly remembering Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for his historic role in establishing world peace. Bangabandhu was the legendary leader of the Bengali nation, they added.

During the discussions, the participants discussed Bangabandhu’s vision, philosophy and his tireless efforts to promote world peace and non-violence and peaceful co-existence.
