Bodies of 2 students recovered in Manikganj

MANIKGANJ: Police in separate incident on Saturday recovered bodies of two school students in the district.

Harirampur Police recovered a body of a school student which was found hanging with the roof of his own house on Saturday morning.

He was identified as Abir Hossain 16, son of M. Abdul Rashid of village Babugopalpur under Chala union of Harirampur upazila of the district and a 10th grade student of Diabari High School.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Muid Chowdhury said the school boy might have been committed suicide by hanging himself over family feud.

His body was sent to Manikganj 250 bed hospital for autopsy.

In second incident, Manikganj police recovered a body of a minor schoolgirl named Sinha, 7, daughter of Abdul Halim of village Paschim Sanbandha under Bhararia union of Manikganj sadar upazila and a student of class one in local Primary school.

Officer-in-Charge of Manikganj police station Akbar Ali Khan said Sinha remained missing since last evening and police recovered her body from a nearby garden.

The body was sent to Manikganj 250 bed hospital for autopsy.
