Partial lunar eclipse to be visible May 26

A partial lunar eclipse will be visible from eight districts of the country soon after the moonrise if the sky remains clear, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

The eclipse could be seen over Dhaka at 6:41 and will last until 7:51 pm, said a bulletin from the BMD.

The partial eclipse will begin in Chattogram at 6:32 pm while it may be visible in Mymensingh at 6:42 pm, in Sylhet at 6:37 pm, in Khulna at 6:42 pm, in Barishal at 6:39 pm, in Rajshahi at 6:48 pm and in Rangpur at 6:49 pm, it added.
