Athlete Jahir Raihan won the only wildcard to represent Bangladesh in the track and field event in the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, Bangladesh Athletics Federation confirmed on Wednesday. Jahir will join archer Ruman Shana and two swimmers Junaina Ahmed, Ariful Islam in the greatest show on earth, scheduled to be held from July 23 to August 8 in Tokyo. Shana directly qualified for the Olympics while both Junaina and Ariful received wildcard entries from their federation earlier this month. “It was my dream. I have been working hard to achieve this opportunity for a long time. I've participated in several international competitions. Hopefully, my experience will help me a lot for Olympics preparation,” Bangladesh Navy athlete Jahir told The Daily Sun.
