Pantha Plaza catches fire

A fire broke out at Pantha Plaza in the capital’s Panthapath area on Monday afternoon.

On receiving information, firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

However, no casualty was reported in the incident.

Lima Khanam, duty officer of the fire service control room, told the Daily Sun that the fire originated on the fourth floor of the commercial building at around 4:10pm.

Being informed, two units of the firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze at around 5:04pm.
