Ami Probashi App launched

Ami Probashi App was launched by the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment virtually on Saturday which will guide Bangladeshi citizens wishing to pursue a job abroad.

Imran Ahmad, minister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, attended the event as the chief guest while Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, principal secretary of the Prime Minister's Office graced the event as a guest of honor, said a press release.

The minister said remittances through migrant workers have always played a vital role in developing socio-economic situation, contributed heavily to the country's GDP growth.

Ami Probashi app has been made to ensure to minimize cost in the migration process, to ensure transparency in the system, to validate documents, to post genuine and authenticated jobs- a point solution for the welfare of expatriates and overseas employment.

 Tarique Ekramul Haque, managing director of Bangla Trac Group,  Namir Ahmad Nuri, director of Bangla Trac Group, Nafriza Shayma, joint secretary and additional director general of Bureau of Manpower, Shamsul Alam, additional secretary and director general of  Bureau of Manpower,  also attended the event.

Dr Ahmed Munirus Saleheen, secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, presided over the programme.
