Ex-NSU registrar dies of corona

Md Shahjahan, former registrar of North South University (NSU), died of Covid-19 in a city hospital on Tuesday. He was 71.

“We gratefully remember his sincere service to NSU. With this sad demise NSU has lost its true friend. Undoubtedly, his death is a great loss for NSU and for the nation,” said members of the NSU Board of Trustees and NSU.

They also expressed profound shock at his death, extended deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for salvation of his departed soul.

Before joining NSU, Md Shahjahan also served as a registrar at BUET, said a press release.
