The second phase of the Bangladesh Championship League is set to be started on May 31. The BCL sub-committee under the BFF Professional Football League Committee, chaired by its president Abdus Salam Murshedy, MP made the decision in a virtual meeting on Tuesday.
The matches of the second phase will be held at an empty stadium in Kamalapur in the capital. All the participating teams have been instructed to do mandatory COVID-19 tests. The committee also decided to extend the mid-season players’ registration window until May 25 and to provide participation money to the teams.
