Three Bangladeshi cricketers - Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah and Liton Das - were picked by different franchises in the replacement draft for the remaining part of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League.
Shakib was picked by Lahore Qalandars while Mahmudullah and Liton were respectively brought in by Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings for the tournament scheduled to resume on June 1.Seven Bangladeshi cricketers, including ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal, Sabbir Rahman and Taskin Ahmed were earlier listed in the replacement draft.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board Chief Executive Officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury told reporters that they are yet to get any application for NOC to take part in the event.
Bangladesh is expected to host Sri Lanka for the three-match ODI series in May while they are expected to travel to Zimbabwe to play three ODIs and three T20s along with two Tests in June.
“We haven’t received any application for NOC from them. We will decide after receiving the application,” said Nizamuddin on Wednesday.
PSL was earlier postponed indefinitely after seven players and staff members tested positive for coronavirus in early March.
