Walton to lead Bangladesh in global digital economy: Palak

Walton Digi-Tech will lead Bangladesh in the global digital economy, said State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Monday.

The minister made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a virtual programme titled ‘Walton Laptop Stay Home Offer at Walton e-Plaza’.

Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited Chairman SM Rezaul Alam presided over the virtual function while Managing Director SM Monjurul Alam and Walkart Limited Managing Director Sabiha Jarin Orona addressed the function as special guests.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that Walton has gained trust among the customers with its ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labelled products.

"Over 90 percent of the people are choosing Walton products. I am also using Walton laptop. Walton is our pride," he added. 

In addition, the state minister also inaugurated the campaign to facilitate consumers in purchasing various IT products staying at home avoiding the risk of coronavirus infection. 

Under this campaign, customers will get up to 20 percent discount on Walton IT products, EMI facility at zero interest, along with safe home delivery and various benefits for E-Plaza purchase.

In regard to the campaign, Palak said that through Walton Laptop Stay Home Offer, people can easily buy their required products staying at home which is a great initiative in the time of corona pandemic.

Officials said, at present, there are different models of Walton laptops, desktops, all-in-one PCs, monitors, tablet PCs, keyboards, mouse, pen drives, memory cards, RAMs, SSDs, external SSDs, cables, digital writing pads, earphones.
