400 people with disabilities get food items

Keeping social distancing and maintaining health guidelines, around 400 people with disabilities receive food items distributed by the Chattogram district administration on Kazem Ali School and College ground in the port city on Thursday. —SUN photo

CHATTOGRAM: Chattogram District Administration on Thursday distributed food items among 400 physically-challenged people as relief in the city’s Kazem Ali High School field.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) ASM Jamshed Khondokar distributed the food items including rice, pulse and sugar.

Voluntary organisations Team CPP, Better Future Bangladesh, Purbashar Alo, Red Crescent, Trinomul Natya Dal, SAARC Human Rights Foundation, M Foundation and Nirban Club assisted the district administration. 

District Social Service Office Deputy Director Md Shahidul Islam, Executive Magistrates Nazma Binte Amin, Ashraful Hasan, Masud Rana and District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Sajib Chakrabartya were present at the programme among others.
