The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) decided to resume flights on the country’s seven domestic routes on a limited scale from today, after a break of 16 days.

Group Captain Chowdhury M Zia Ul Kabir, member (Flight Standard & Regulations), Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), said CAAB will announce

details on the resumption through a circular soon.

On April 3, CAAB decided to suspend all domestic flights in the country from April 5 in a bid to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission.

The local airways on April 7 asked for permission to operate flights on domestic routes following health guidelines strictly.
