Singer’s profit soars by 52pc

Earning per share (EPS) of Singer Bangladesh has increased by 52 percent in the first three months of the current financial year.

This information has been known from DSE sources.

It is learned that the company’s earning per share (EPS) from January to March 2021 has been Tk 1.81.

The amount was Tk 1.19 in the same period of the previous financial year.

As a result, the company’s profit has increased by Tk 0.62 or 52 percent.

As of March 31, 2021, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 33.84.

On December 31, 2020, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) was Tk 34.66.

NOCFPS was Tk 16.12 for January-March 2021 as against Tk 15.37 for January-March 2020.

Due to amalgamation of International Appliances Limited (subsidiary) with Singer Bangladesh Limited, current period is presented as standalone basis.

Comparative figures are also presented standalone basis.
