Renowned film actress Kabori is on life support at Sheikh Russel National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital in the capital. She was put on life support on Thursday after her condition deteriorated, sources said.
Earlier, the actress was infected with coronavirus on April 5 and admitted to the Kurmitola General Hospital.Later, she was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Sheikh Russel National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital on April 8 when her health condition deteriorated.
Sarah Begum Kabori is a prominent film actress of the country. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the film ‘Sareng Bou’ (1978). She was elected as a member of parliament from the Narayanganj-4 constituency as a Bangladesh Awami League politician in 2008 and served until 2014.
