Bangladesh national hockey team ranked 38th in the latest men’s world ranking (outdoor) with 417 points, International Hockey Federation announced on Tuesday.

IHF published lists for 91-member men’s hockey rankings as well as for 76-member women’s hockey rankings for their outdoor sport.

Although Bangladesh haven’t played any international field hockey match since Asian Games 2018 held in Indonesia, they ranked third in South Asia after India (fifth) and Pakistan (17th).

Reigning World and European champions Belgium are placed at top of the list while Australia and Germany are in second and third place respectively.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh, who last played an international indoor match during Men's Indoor Asia Cup 2019 in Thailand, ranked 35th out of 48 members with 200 points in men’s world ranking (indoor).
