All the members of the Bangladesh contingent in Sri Lanka reported corona negative in the first test, a Bangladesh Cricket Board official confirmed on Tuesday.
Bangladesh national cricket team, who are scheduled to play two Tests against the hosts, earlier arrived in Colombo on Monday and following their PCR test, they checked in at the quarantine facility at Negombo.“All of us reported corona negative,” BCB media manager Rabeed Imam told The Daily Sun.
“We are currently in room quarantine that is expected to end tomorrow (today) and though we will be in quarantine we will be able to do some practice from April 15,” he added.
Bangladesh will play a two-day intra-squad warm-up game, commencing on April 17 at CMC, Katunayake.
The first Test will be played from April 21 while the second game will be held from April 29, both in Kandy.
