Association of Mobile Telecom Operators in Bangladesh (AMTOB) has sought assistance from the law enforcers in delivering emergency mobile phone and internet services during the lockdown.

According to the government order, the telecom and internet services will be considered as “emergency” and remain out of lockdown restrictions.

AMTOB expressed gratitude to the law enforcement agencies for their assistance during last year’s lockdown. “We hope that we can provide emergency telecom and internet services to the users during lockdown period.” Brig Gen SM Farhad, secretary general of AMTOB, said.
