CHATTOGRAM: A pedestrian was killed when a boundary wall of a building collapsed on him in the city’s Agrabad area on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Nurul Islam, 45, of Lalkhan Bazar area in the city.He was a painter by profession.
Sources said a boundary wall was being demolished for expansion of a road in Chowmuhuni area at around 8:30am.
At one stage, the wall collapsed on Nurul while he was passing through the road, leaving him critically injured.
Later, he was rushed to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, said ASI Alauddin Talukder of the hospital police outpost.
