Modi thanks Bangladesh for excellent arrangement for him

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked the Bangladesh government for the “excellent and perfect” arrangements made during his recent Dhaka visit to attend the celebrations of the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence and the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

“I write to convey my thanks for the excellent arrangements made during my recent state visit to Bangladesh,” he said in a letter sent to Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen.

In the letter, Modi expressed his gratitude to the government of Bangladesh and Foreign Minister Momen.

The Indian Prime Minister said he had been delighted to have discussion and exchange views with the Foreign Minister during his visit, according to a Foreign Ministry press release issued on Monday.

Modi paid a two-day state visit to Bangladesh on March 26-27.
