Abul Hayat tests positive for coronavirus

Prominent Bangladeshi actor Abul Hayat has tested positive for coronavirus. His daughter Natasha Hayat confirmed the news in her Facebook post on Thursday day.

‘Abbu, unfortunately, tested positive for Covid-19 and had to be hospitalized Wednesday night with mild symptoms,’ Natasha’s Facebook status said.

Abul Hayat is currently stable and under observation of the doctors, she confirmed. She requested in her post to anyone who has recently recovered (3 weeks) from Covid-19 of A+Blood group for donating Convalescent Plasma to Abul Hayat. 

Abul Hayat is a popular actor of the country. He is also a writer, civil engineer and director. He earned Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film Daruchini Dwip (2007) and was awarded Ekushey Padak for his acting in 2015.
