6,022 pass 42nd BCS preliminary test

A total of 6,022 candidates for assistant surgeon posts have passed the 42nd special BCS preliminary examination.

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) published the results of the test for doctors in the health cadre on Monday.

Those have come out successful will now face a viva voce against 2,000 posts of assistant surgeons.

A total of 27,565 candidates took part in the examination held on February 26 amid the coronavirus pandemic.

A total of 31,026 aspirants registered for the test after the PSC published the recruitment circular in November last year.
