Bangladesh kabaddi team coach Ramesh Bhendigiri said they are confident enough to clinch the title of the upcoming Bangabandhu Cup 2021 International Kabaddi Tournament.

“I’m pleased with their (kabaddi players) performances in the training and they are hard-working. Bangladesh have the ability and they are confident enough to clinch the title,” said the Indian coach.

The tournament is scheduled to be held from March 28 to April 2 at the Shaheed Nur Hossain National Volleyball Stadium. Among the participating teams, Kenya, Poland will arrive in Dhaka today while Nepal and Sri Lanka will land on Friday.

“All the participating teams can give tough challenges for Bangladesh. But we have to try our best and bag success from here. Among these teams, Sri Lanka can give us a trough fight but Nepal, Kenya and Poland are also good teams. They are doing well,” said Ramesh.
