The number of Covid-19 vaccine recipients is rising gradually throughout the country, as 78,817 more people took the jab on Wednesday.
Of the vaccine recipients, 44,266 were males and 34,551 females, said Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Only three people reported side effects.With this, a total of 50,069,049 people have so far received the first dose of Oxford-AstraZeneca (Covishield) vaccine all over the country.
Of the vaccine recipients, 31,68,994 were males and 19,00,055 females. A total of 923 vaccine recipients have so far reported side effects, said the DGHS.
On the other hand, a total of 64,67,789 people have so registered online for the vaccine until 5:30pm on Wednesday.
