Ex-ACC chief’s mother dies

Mahfuza Begum, mother of immediate past chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission Iqbal Mahmood, died of old age complications at her residence in the capital on Monday. She was 95. 

She left behind her four sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death, family sources said.

Her eldest son Iqbal Mahmood was the fifth chairman of the ACC. The five-year tenure of the ACC chairman ended on March 9.
