Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) Chairman Md Sohorab Hossain said the result of the 41st Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination will be published within next two months.

He came up with the remark while talking to journalists after visiting Lalmatia Mohila College center in Dhaka during the 41st BCS exam on Friday.

Sohorab Hossain said “If it takes 15 days to publish the results of the 42nd BCS (special) preliminary examination, then hopefully the results of the 41st BCS preliminary examination can be published within two months. There is a possibility of publishing the results even before the targeted time.”

The 41st BCS preliminary examination was held on Friday in eight divisions throughout the country following health guidelines strictly amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Around 4.75 lakh candidates applied for the exam after the 41st BCS circular was published in November 2019 to appoint 2,018 vacant posts in different cadres.
