Japan to provide US $10m for Rohingyas, host communities

Japan will provide US $10 million as emergency grant aid for the displaced rohingya people and the host communities in Cox’s Bazar.

This emergency grant aid is to provide $5 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), $4.3 million to the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), and $0.7 million to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for humanitarian assistance, said the Embassy of Japan on Thursday.
