470-bed Evercare Hospital Chattogram opens in April

The Evercare Group, the leading healthcare provider investing in emerging markets, will be launching Evercare Hospital Chattogram in Bangladesh next month.

Equipped with the latest technology and more than 500 best in class medical professionals, the Evercare Hospital Chattogram will provide quality, accessible healthcare to improve patient outcomes for communities in, and around, Chattogram, it said in a statement yesterday.

The 470-bed hospital, in the Ananna Residential Area of the Hathazari area in Chattogram, is the first ever multi-disciplinary super-specialty tertiary care hospital in Chattogram and features 24/7 Emergency Department, ICUs and 27 specialties and subspecialties filling capacity gaps in the region.

The hospital spans 492,000sqft and is larger in scale and capacity than its sister hospital, Evercare Hospital Dhaka, the only JCI accredited hospital in the whole of Bangladesh.

Massimiliano Colella, CEO of the Evercare Group, said: “It gives us great pleasure to bring global healthcare services to the people of Chattogram. As the first-ever internationally acclaimed hospital in the city, Evercare Hospital Chattogram will elevate the standard of medical care and set the benchmark for healthcare going forward. I am proud that the Evercare Group and our teams here in Bangladesh are leading the way as we work together to transform healthcare in our markets.”

“Evercare Hospital Chattogram will build on the strong synergy between leading consultants and physicians, support services and leading technology at our internationally accredited hospital in Dhaka and we will implement these same best practices in Chattogram from Day 1. We are truly committed to making renowned medical services easily accessible to people in their own city, thereby negating the need to travel overseas,” concluded Dr. Ratnadeep Chaskar, CEO of Evercare Hospital Dhaka.
