Afjalur Rahman Masum, an umpire coach of Bangladesh Cricket Board, died from a cardiac arrest on Wednesday at his residence in Dhaka. He was 51.
Masum was a first-class umpire whose officiating career spanned over three decades.BCB expressed deepest sympathy and condolence to the family of Masum and prayed for the salvation of his departed soul.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Mohakhali DOHS Jamia Mosque after Asr prayers. He was buried at Azimpur Graveyard in the capital.
