A video content on rights of transgender community created by Just Storys has made hype over social media with nearly one million views in within two weeks.
Over 8 lakh 71 thousand people saw the content (fb.watch/3DCMbCGqNz) developed in association with United Development Programme(UNDP) portraying the loves in the community has, said a press release of Just Storys. Challenging the established idea of portraying love limiting between two dominant genders, Just Storys shared the story of a 3rd gender school teacher’s valentine's day celebration.This content was published from the Facebook page of UNDP and Just Storys and after a few hours of it publishes it broke through the appreciation of viewers from all walks of life.
The significant acceptance it received from the trans community who could relate to the emotion of the video.
UNDP communication head Md Abdul Quayyum finds this as an aspiring way to communicate with people through storytelling. Gender equality is one important agenda that UNDP looks for and through this story it was well reflected.
The founder of Just Storys, BreitySabrin Khan is overwhelmed with this appreciation from people. “We look forward to this year creating more content that will voice social changes'', she says.
Just Storys is a start-up content platform. Since its establishment in 2019 it has published notable contents that grabbed the attention of the market.
