Bangabandhu Satellite-1 signal may face disruption

Signal of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 may face disruptions for nine consecutive days from March 6 to March14 because of sun outage.

In a statement on Monday, Bangladesh Satellite Company Ltd (BSCL) apologised for this natural calamity.

On 6th March, the disturbance of the satellite may start at 9:54 am and end at 10.01 am with 7 seconds duration, BSCL said. 

On 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th March, 2021 the disruptions of the satellite will begin and end from 9:52 am to 10.03 am, from 9:50 am to10.04 am, from 9:49 am to10.04 am, from 9:49 am to 10.04 am, from 9:49 am to10.05 am, from 9:49 am to10.03 am, from 9:50 am to10.02 am and from 9:51 am to10.00 am, respectively, it added.
