Bangladesh received $1780.58 million in remittance in February this year, posting a 22.61 per cent increase over the same month last year.
The country’s remittance inflow stood at $1452.20 million in February 2020.
After adjustment of the inward remittance, the country’s forex reserve soared to $44.122 billion on Sunday.Over the last eight months of FY21, from July to February, the country received $16.68 billion in remittance, up from $12.49 billion during the same period of FY20.
In January this year, expatriates sent $1.96 billion that was $ 1.64 billion in January 2020.
