The National Board of Revenue (NBR) is going to start month-long pre-budget discussions for the fiscal year 2021-2022 from March 1.

The NBR invited different trade bodies, professionals, researchers, and experts to submit their proposal in writing to the federation of chamber of commerce and industries (FBCCI) by March 08, 2021.

At the same time, the organisations have asked to send another soft copy of the proposal by e-mail to the NBR.  The company has already finalised the schedule of  month-long pre-budget discussions with various business organisations in order to make the budget more participatory, logical, balanced and people-oriented.

The pre-budget meeting with the sector-based representative bodies related to customs, VAT and taxes will start from March 1 and will continue till April 1.  This year's pre-budget discussion will be held at different times in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna and Sylhet.
