AIUB holds ‘Folklore 2021 – Symphony of the World’

American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organised a virtual international celebration of folk musical performances from institutions across the globe titled ‘Folklore 2021 – Symphony of the World’. On the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, this unique event, one of the first of its kind, showcased amazing musical performances that honour the heritage of folk music across borders and transcending generations, on Sunday from 2pm onwards on Zoom platform.

The folklore showcased around 30 musical performances by the students of 17 institutions from 10 countries, including,  Adamson University (AU), Philippines, Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), India, Caucasus University (CU), Georgia, Centro de Enseñanza Técnica Y Superior (CETYS) Universidad, Mexico, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), Lithuania, Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), Thailand,  Saint Mary’s University (SMU), Canada, University of Visual & Performing Arts (UVPA), Sri Lanka, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Malaysia and American International University - Bangladesh (AIUB), Bangladesh.
