Paragon Professional Golf deferred

The fifth edition of Paragon Professional Golf Tournament, which was scheduled to be started on Wednesday, was deferred to February 22.

The three-day meet will now take place from Feb 22 to 24 at Army Golf Club. The 54-hole event will offer prize money of Tk 15 lakhs.

The country’s professional golf was expected to return to the course with this tournament after a long 11-month pandemic layoff.

The last tournament Mujib Borsho Hosaf Professional Golf Tournament was held at Savar Golf Club last March.

Meanwhile, another golf tournament, the fourth edition of Runner President Cup Golf Tournament, organised by Kurmitola Golf Club, will be held on Feb 17-19 only for KGC members.
